IDC works with the US design associations on the Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC), to provide quality control and reciprocity of CEU courses on a cross-border basis.

IDC coordinates the Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credit system of continuing education in Canada and works with the provincial associations to develop continuing education opportunities.
